We are pleased to announce that the William Congdon Foundation recently has donated one of its paintings to the Museo del Novecento of Milan.
It is Milano 0, dated 1968, painted during one of his stay in the Lombardy capital. It is a true “portrait” of the city that at the time was going through one of its darkest and most dramatic periods in its recent history.
